Noreen Young was born in Almonte, Ontario, and is known for producing "Noreen Young Productions" and the infamous television program "Under the Umbrella Tree" (1986). She began the production company in 1976, and still has the puppets and a puppet organization today. When UtUT show was cancelled in 1993, it still aired in re-runs until 1997. Young has plans to either re-air the old shows in 2005, or release DVDs on all the show's seasons in 2005. Hide
