Yet their relationship is not the only complicated one: Will (Chris Carmack) finally confesses to his wife, Layla (Aubrey Peeples), that he's gay, and she's shocked by the news. Meanwhile, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) lands the coveted role of Patsy Cline in a movie, and then she learns she's pregnant and tries to hide the pregnancy from producers. Deacon also has a big secret he attempts to hide when he is diagnosed with cancer and is reluctant to tell anyone except his niece, Scarlett (Clare Bowen).

This was a great episode for the opening of a new season. I'm glad that they addressed all of the loose ends from the past season's finale. The way they kicked off season three leaves the audience with so many questions about what could happen next.September 25, 2014
